Upload your manuscript
Accepted formats: .md, .txt, .rtf, .docx, .pdf. Up to 200,000 words. Everything happens through your user area.

Configure the assessment
You indicate the category (non-fiction, fiction, or thesis), the report language, optional custom weights for the assessment dimensions, and any contextual notes about the manuscript. For non-fiction and theses you can enable bibliography verification.

Pay once
Single payment via secure payment platform. No subscription, no automatic renewals. Before paying, you accept the general terms of sale, as required by EU regulation for immediate-execution services.

The AI works
Five to ten minutes, typically. Behind the scenes, five specialised AI agents work in cooperation across distinct phases of the assessment, each with a complementary task. You can close the window: we'll email you when the report is ready.

Receive the report
Two PDFs: a short executive summary for quick decisions, and a complete, detailed analysis to work on the manuscript. Everything stays in your account, downloadable at any time.
Comparison with your category
Every report shows you where you stand against other manuscripts in the same category, as a percentile. A fixed reference point on the scale, referred to texts similar to yours.
Your manuscript is not used to assess other authors and is never publicly shared. It is deleted from our storage within 7 days of report delivery. Only anonymous, aggregated data is retained for statistical calibration.
What we measure
Five core editorial dimensions calibrated by category (non-fiction, fiction, academic theses), with scores from 1 to 10, rationales and direct quotes from the text. The final verdict is expressed in five levels, from work ready for the publisher to work with significant development margins.

What Manuscriptum does not do
For transparency, we explicitly declare the service's limits.
- Does not detect plagiarism: for anti-plagiarism verification, dedicated tools are required (Turnitin, iThenticate).
- Does not detect AI-generated text: we do not classify the manuscript as human or synthetic.
- Does not proofread or rewrite: no copy-editing, no paraphrasing, no ghostwriting.
- Does not verify facts or authorship: responsibility for content remains with the author.
